imagining the early years: brand visuals for squiggle room
When HH Brand & Design was developing the identity for Squiggle Room, they brought me on to further visualize their concept: a blend of the discovery-led Reggio Emilia method and the bold, graphic energy of the Memphis Movement. My task was to translate these themes into a series of "otherworldly" 3D images that felt both breathy and inherently whimsical.
The creative challenge was to harmonize the free-spirited nature of childhood development with playful, iconic geometry. I leaned into an airy, ethereal aesthetic, using custom 3D imagery to build a visual environment that felt like a dreamlike invitation to wonder, moving beyond traditional educational marketing toward a visual language that felt sophisticated, yet deeply joyful.
By balancing soft, atmospheric textures with sharp, Memphis-inspired forms, I was able to expand the brand identity into a space that feels as imaginative as the children it serves. This project was a rewarding exercise in how technical art direction can take a core concept and elevate it into a cohesive, emotive visual story.
