spot holder: a national retail experience

As physical retail began to reopen, the challenge was to turn a high-friction, stressful experience — managing capacity limits — into something intuitive and welcoming. I led the national campaign for a digital waitlist solution that empowered shoppers to queue via QR codes, prioritizing peace of mind through a frictionless experience that felt remarkably simple.

The design philosophy was centered on "joyful simplicity." To counter the collective tension of the time, I developed a clean, playful visual system that turned a functional utility into an elevated, airy brand moment. By utilizing custom 3D imagery and a light, minimalist aesthetic, I ensured the campaign felt less like a logistical hurdle and more like a breath of fresh air.

This project was an exercise in end-to-end creative ownership, spanning OOH, digital, and social ecosystems. I oversaw the strategy, concepting, and art direction, and personally crafted all 3D assets. By aligning complex technical needs with a deeply human-centered approach, the campaign successfully scaled nationally, proving that even in challenging moments, thoughtful design can create a lasting sense of delight.
