At Ring, I lived in the space where rigorous technical strategy meets human-centered design. Tasked with demystifying complex hardware, I led the transition from fragmented documentation to a cohesive, global system that turned daunting setup processes into intuitive, "joyfully simple" experiences for millions of users worldwide.

designing for scale + sustainability.

I led the effort to overhaul Ring’s global documentation system, bringing together Engineering, Legal, and Product teams to create a unified design language. This wasn't just about making things look better — it was about making them work better. By optimizing our architectural standards and template design, I was able to streamline our workflows, resulting in $719K in annual savings and a 1,000-ton reduction in paper waste. I also spearheaded an accessibility strategy that set new benchmarks for inclusive design across Amazon, directly leading to $1.5M in cost avoidance.

Beyond the functional, I participated in a high-level creative incubator to explore how Ring’s visual identity could better reflect its mission. This was an exciting opportunity to experiment with new illustration styles and approachable design, pushing the boundaries of how we communicate with our users. It was a valuable exercise in proving that even the most utilitarian parts of the customer journey can be made visually joyful, and it reinforced my commitment to finding those opportunities for warmth and clarity in every project I touch.
